Plant Operator / Quarry Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator / Quarry Operator to join one of our valued clients in Lithgow. The ideal candidate will have a background in operating heavy machinery in a quarry or plant setting.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain various types of heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks

- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times

- Assist with general labor tasks as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Plant Operator or Quarry Operator

- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Committed to following safety protocols and procedures

- Ability to pass a full medical including drug & alcohol screening

- Hold a valid Australian drivers' licence
